Statement of Beliefs

We are a non-Denominational Church with a STrong Christian Foundation!

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures are essential to the understanding of God and His plans, and they guide us in all aspects of life. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, Psalm 119:105, 2 Peter 1:20-21)

We believe there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, each possessing all the attributes of deity. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Deuteronomy 6:4)

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1,14, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:11)

We believe that salvation is a gift from God to man. This gift is effected by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, resulting in repentance, justification, and regeneration. This salvation produces a life of sanctification, righteousness, and good works as evidence of faith. (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10, John 3:16)

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, with equality across racial, gender, and class differences. The church has the mandate to preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations. (Matthew 16:18, Ephesians 4:11-13, Acts 2:47)

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, whose indwelling enables the Christian to live a godly life. The Holy Spirit also empowers believers with spiritual gifts for the edification of the church and as a witness to the world. (Galatians 5:22-23, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:4-7)

We believe in the blessed hope, which is the personal, visible return of our Lord Jesus Christ. His return has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. We also believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; those that are saved to the resurrection of life and those that are lost to the resurrection of damnation. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, John 5:28-29, Revelation 22:12)

We believe that Christians should live for the glory of God and the well-being of their fellow humans; that their conduct should be blameless before the world; that they should be faithful stewards of their possessions; and that they should seek to realize for themselves and others the full stature of maturity in Christ. (Colossians 3:17, 1 Peter 2:12, Ephesians 4:1-3)

We believe that Christ instituted the sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper, which are to be observed solemnly and joyfully by all believers as signs and seals of the covenant of grace. (Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26)
